Sean works almost exclusively with high quality oil paints on canvas. His work is colourful and original, but the subject of the painting always remains recognisable, thus resulting in a contemporary style which can be appreciated by all art lovers, whatever their tastes in art.

Sean Curley was born in 1966 in Southport, Merseyside and moved to the South of England when in his teens. He studied at Bournemouth University and now lives in Poole, Dorset with his wife, Andrea.

Sean is an intentionally self taught artist who, from a very early age, sought to develop his own unique style. Sean draws inspiration from the harbours and countryside of Dorset and the South of England in general. Also, Sean always has a camera at hand whilst travelling or on holiday in order to capture any inspirational scenes he may chance upon.

Sean's work has been exhibited in several galleries throughout the UK and Europe and he has held many exhibitions both solo and with other artists. Sean has developed an easily recognisable painting style which he has used to great effect when painting the many and varied topics of his work.
